1. Project Initiation

Your Solar Consultant performs a site survey on your home. Define Solar’s Proposals & Design team designs your Solar System custom tailored to your needs.

Site Survey
Our Solar Consultant will visit to measure, review, and finalize the plans in your Residential Agreement.

Solar Care Assistant
Your Solar Care Assistant’s superpower is picking up from here: coordinating everything from contract to commission.

2. Planning & Design

The Design Team creates the final blueprints for engineers to stamp and seal to start application processes. Define Solar’s Project Managers apply for Permission to Install with utility company and pull permits with your township (Authority Having Jurisdiction) and your amazing Solar Care Assistant will let you know when everything is sent. They will notify you as soon as we’re ready to schedule installation!

Scheduling
Your Solar Care Assistant will coordinate with you a day and time when Installation will begin. Our Expert Installers tend to complete the entire Installation on the same day.

3. Installation & Inspections

Your Solar Care Assistant never stops working for you! To ensure we get the system operational, your Assistant coordinates the Final Inspection with your township. Define Solar also provides an Inspections Assistant on-site that will have everything the Inspector will need and be able to answer any questions he or she may have.

Permit Submission & Approval
Towns with a robust solar energy market usually have this process streamlined, and approval may only take a few days. In other regions, the process may take a whole month, or even longer.

4. Finals & Production

You’re almost there! Project Managers keep the paperwork flowing and obtain the documentation for approved inspections and get the final application for permission to operate from the utility company. Utility will come swap meter and your Solar Care Assistant will confirm System Turn On with you!

5. Operation & Maintenance

You’re almost there! Project Managers keep the paperwork flowing and obtain the documentation for approved inspections and get the final application for permission to operate from the utility company. Utility will come swap meter and your Solar Care Assistant will confirm System Turn On with you!
